Let’s see how to reset error 82, which corresponds to the service reset, on the Opel/Vauxhall Meriva B: turn on the ignition and use the small toggle switch on the left side of the steering wheel. Press the menu button until you see the screen containing the service reset option.

Hold down the confirm button (or the button itself, depending on the version) while simultaneously pressing the brake pedal. When the screen shows "reset 100%", the code 82 should disappear.

You can release the pedal and button. If this method does not work, try holding the button without pressing the brake until the code clears.
