Let’s see how to reset the service light on the Opel/Vauxhall Vivaro (as well as the Renault Trafic and Nissan Primastar twins): turn on the ignition and locate the control buttons (usually found near the speedometer or rev counter, as shown in the video) and use them to navigate the onboard computer menu. Press one of the buttons repeatedly until the display shows the word "service". Then press and hold one of the two buttons for a few seconds. The display will change and show something like "current oil change". Press and hold the same button again. The distance in miles for the next service will start to flash and reset to the maximum value. Turn off the car and restart it to check that the service message has disappeared.
