The remote control of the Opel Corsa D is powered by a 3-volt button battery marked CR2032. This type of battery is what powers most car remotes, making it easy to find commercially for just a few pence. The battery replacement can be done independently, provided you have a flat object to use as a lever and a spare battery.

Once you have opened the remote shell, the battery is immediately removable, so it only takes a few seconds to replace it with a new one and close the shell.
