The fuel filter of the Opel Meriva A is located underneath the vehicle, so to replace it, you must first lift the car. If you do not have a ramp, which is likely unless you are in a workshop, you can use appropriate axle stands. Once the car is raised off the ground, position a container to catch any fluids beneath the fuel filter and disconnect the first hose. Proceed to unscrew the mounting bracket of the fuel filter, disconnect the second hose, and remove the old filter from its housing. Install the new one by following the same procedure in reverse.
