Video tutorial

The video shows the learning of the TPMS sensors on an Opel Astra K after replacing a sensor (rear right wheel). The owner had removed the sensors to check the battery and replaced them all. An activation tool is needed (in the video, an EL-50448 from Amazon at code B072BK693N for £15.99). Turn on the ignition, go to the dashboard menu to the "Tyre Pressure" option.

Using the wiper stalk, press and hold the "Clear" button until the system asks for confirmation: select "Yes". The horn sounds twice: the configuration mode is active. At this point, bring the tool close to each valve in the order indicated by the system: the horn sounds for each recognised sensor.

The order is: front left, front right, rear right (the one replaced), rear left. Finally, the horn sounds twice and the LED turns off: the configuration is complete.

The sensor frequency is 433 MHz.

How to Replace the Battery in a BMW 2 Series Active Tourer?

To replace the battery in a BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, open the hood to access the components in the engine compartment: in the upper right corner, just below the windshield on the driver's side, you will find a panel to remove. The battery is located under this panel and can be removed by loosening the screws that secure it and disconnecting the power cables; this will allow you to connect and install the new battery to ensure everything functions correctly.
