In this video, we will see how to remove and then install the center console of an Opel Astra H: first, pull up the handbrake and remove the panel underneath it. This will expose two screws located at the base of the gear lever; once removed, the base can easily be taken off, along with the gear lever boot.

After removing this, the part containing the cigarette lighter/ashtray will also come off: simply disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the handbrake boot as well. Now we can put everything back in place, whether we just needed to clean it or if our intention was to replace it. Proceed in reverse order, starting with the handbrake boot, reconnect the cigarette lighter connector and put the container back in place, then reattach the gear lever base, tightening the two screws, and finally put the panel back under the handbrake.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins.
