How to Replace the Headlight Bulbs on an Opel Astra

On this vehicle, replacing the headlight bulbs is straightforward, but the procedure requires some time as there is very little space for manoeuvring on the right side, so you will need to remove the air filter. Start by disconnecting the filter hoses, unscrewing the screws that secure it to the chassis, and unplugging the connectors. Remove the air filter. You will now have access to the right headlamp from the inside; the bulbs are clearly visible, and to remove them, simply grasp and twist them slightly counterclockwise. As a good practice, use a contact cleaner and never touch the new bulb on the glass part to avoid affecting its lifespan. Do the same on the opposite side.
