Removing the Air Conditioning Compressor on Opel Vectra

Here’s how to remove the air compressor from an Opel Vectra. Open the engine bay, remove the plates securing the radiator at the top, then lift the car on a column lift (if necessary). Remove the horizontal coil from the radiator using pliers, then use a spanner to unscrew the large hose from the top of the car. Once free from screws and pipes, you can work on removing the air compressor from the engine bay. Unscrew the bolts at the base in the engine bay to free the air compressor, then unscrew it along with the attached belt. Fit the new part in the engine bay with the attached belt and securing bolts.
