This guide shows how to remove the brake pads from the car. After removing the tyre from the affected side, unscrew the two bolts securing the caliper and, using a flat screwdriver, push the piston back to allow the part to come out. Now you can pull out the brake pads and the sliding guides (which should be maintained) from the housing. Replace with new pads and check the correct positioning. Refit the brake caliper and tighten the securing bolts. At this point, the operation is complete. The tools required for the replacement are: - Spanner; - Flat screwdriver.
