How to Remove the Cabin Fan from an Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Sw MK 3 - Years 2004-2011

Before you begin, it is strongly recommended to disconnect the battery of your Opel Astra to work safely. Sit in the front passenger seat and open the glove compartment to reveal the screws securing it, which need to be removed. Once these screws are removed, extract the glove compartment from its housing and disconnect the relevant plug. This will give you access to the cabin fan. Before you can remove it, you must detach the resistor by unclipping the two clips that hold it in place, then disconnect the corresponding plugs. At this point, unscrew the screws that secure the fan to the vehicle. Once this step is complete, you can remove the fan, and you will have finished the disassembly.
