Vauxhall Astra Sw - Video tutorial

Model: Vauxhall Astra Sw MK 3 - Years 2004-2011
Part: Interior blower
Operation: How to remove the passenger compartment fan of an Opel Astra

Before we can begin, I strongly recommend that you disconnect the battery of our Opel Astra, so that we can work in total safety. We then proceed with sitting in the seat of the front passenger, and begin by opening the glove compartment, thus discovering the screws that secure it, which will have to be removed. Once we have removed these screws, we will be able to extract the glove box from its seat and disconnect the relative plug. By doing so, we will have reached the passenger compartment fan. Before being able to disassemble it, we will have to go and disassemble the resistance, unhooking the two clips that fix it, and then disconnect the relative pins. At this point, we can go and unscrew the screws that secure the fan to the machine. When we have completed this step, we will be able to remove the fan, and we will have finished the disassembly.

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto?

To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood.
