How to remove the rear brake disc on an Opel Astra? First, position your car on a column lift (jack), loosen the bolts with a spanner, and lift it to your preferred height to work on it. Unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel, then begin unscrewing the bolts of the caliper support and detach it. Unscrew the bolts of the brake disc and detach it from the wheel hub. Remove the brake disc and compare it with the new part; you should see no obvious difference between the two. Install the new disc onto the wheel hub and all other parts in reverse order.
