Vauxhall Astra Sw - Video tutorial

Model: Vauxhall Astra Sw MK 3 - Years 2004-2011
Part: Brake pads
Operation: How to remove the pads on an Opel Astra brake disc

Let's see in this video how to remove the pads on an Opel Astra brake disc. We place our car on a column bridge, loosen the pins with a telescopic wrench and lift to a comfortable height to intervene. We unscrew the pins and remove the rims, then, we begin to unscrew the pins of the brake caliper by detaching it from the support, we disconnect the oil pump. With a screwdriver we detach the brake pads, tighten the caliper support to the disc and the new pads, then, mount the brake caliper, remembering to tighten all the pins well. Before mounting the rim, we bleed the brake caliper and we go to tighten the pin. We mount the rim with the pins, top up the previously drained oil and always check the brake pedal pressure.

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto?

To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood.
