- Years 2004-2011 The replacement of the rear brake pads can be easily done do-it-yourself and does not require the use of any particular tool other than the common workshop tools; therefore lift the car and remove the rear wheel; even before removing the brake caliper, lever between the old pad and the disc to fully retract the piston, then unscrew the fixing pins of the brake caliper, remove it from its support, extract the old pads and insert the new ones then reposition the caliper, tighten the relative fixing pins and reassemble the wheel.
