How to replace the exterior mirror in the Opel Astra?

As we can see in this tutorial, replacing the exterior mirror in the Opel Astra H is a very simple operation. First of all we open the door in which we will go to work, then we disengage the small triangular panel on the back of the mirror and remove the speaker. Next, we disconnect the adjustment motor connector and unscrew the three fixing screws with a Torx screwdriver with a T25 tip. Once this is done, we can extract the mirror from the door and fit any spare part by following exactly the reverse procedure.

In this video, learn how to perform the disassembly: use a lever to remove the plastic under the glove compartment, and unscrew the cover (where the resistor is located) with a screwdriver. Disconnect the large connector of the resistor, then pull it out from the cabin. Insert a new fan resistor (connect the power connector). Finally, refit the cover and tighten the screws. Check the correct assembly of the previously fitted parts and test the correct operation of the fan.
