Let's see how to replace the mirror glass on the exterior mirror of an Opel Astra. Using a plastic-coated lever, pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the mirror glass itself.

Pry until the plastics separate from the mirror (disconnect the power cable). Unscrew the screws with a screwdriver to detach the cover of the mirror (if to be replaced), and replace the damaged part with the new one. Be careful to engage the plastic clips into the supports of the mirror (join the back of the mirror to the mirror housing).
