Instructions for Removing the Light Switch

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra H - Years 2004-2010
Part: Dashboard

The light switch is located to the left of the driver, just below the air vent; to remove it, first set it to the off position (lights off), then gently press the switch knob inwards and rotate it one click to the position light setting: this releases the retaining tab, allowing you to pull out the switch along with the trim. Proceed in reverse for reassembly. This operation requires careful handling without excessive force.
