Instructions for Removing the Indicator Stalk

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra G - Years 1998-2006

To remove the indicator stalk controls, first remove the steering wheel by disconnecting the airbag and unscrewing the steering wheel fastening nut; once the steering wheel is removed, unscrew the fastening screws of the trim shells and separate them to access the controls: remove the upper shell first, then unscrew the other fastening screws of the lower shell; at this point, it is possible to slide out the control stalks by pressing on the respective fastening tabs to retract them, then disconnect the electrical connectors: take care not to damage the small plastic tabs.
