How to Remove the Indicator Stalk on an Opel Astra

How do you remove the indicator stalk on an Opel Astra? Before removing the steering wheel, disconnect the battery power cables. Use a screwdriver and suitable bit to unscrew the steering wheel covers, then remove the airbag by unscrewing the screws present.

Once the airbag is removed, disconnect the power connectors; then unscrew the central bolt of the steering wheel and disconnect the power connectors. Pull the steering wheel off with your hands after marking the securing position with a marker.

After removing the steering wheel, extract the indicator stalk from the steering column (remove the covering plastics).
