Emergency Procedure to Unlock Reverse Gear on Opel Mokka

Model: Vauxhall Mokka Mokka A - Years 2012-2019

Here is an emergency procedure to unlock the gear knob that cannot engage reverse gear on an Opel Mokka (also applicable to Corsa and Adam, the procedure is exactly the same). If the button located under the knob does not help to unlock the lever (this unfortunately can happen), take a small tool to press a kind of ring located under the gear lever in the gaiter (as shown in the video) while simultaneously trying to engage reverse gear. This will allow you to take the vehicle to a mechanic or dealership, where they will identify the problem. Remember, this is an emergency procedure.
