To replace the battery in the remote control of the Opel Astra, use a tool to pry open the back of the remote. Once it is removed, you can locate the battery inside: this can then be extracted from its housing and replaced with a new spare part.

After inserting the new battery, close the remote by fitting the corresponding panel and check that the device functions correctly.
