This guide outlines the steps to remove and replace the alternator on the Opel Antara V6, as well as the Chevrolet Captiva. First, raise the vehicle and disconnect the auxiliary belt. Then, disconnect the pipe located near the belt to access the alternator, as shown in the video. Next, unscrew the fixing bolts of the belt tensioner to remove it. Unscrew the bolts of the alternator and disconnect the electrical wiring, replacing it with the new one. Follow the reverse procedure for reassembly!
