In this guide, we will see the steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the alternator of the Opel Antara V6, but also of the Chevrolet Captiva. As a first step, we lift the car and begin to disconnect the service belt; we then disconnect the tubing that we find near the belt, in order to access the alternator, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew the fixing screws of the belt tensioner, in order to remove it; we unscrew the alternator screws and disconnect the electrical wiring, replacing it with the new one, applying the reverse procedure for reassembly!
