Repainting the Mirror Caps on Opel Corsa

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa D - Years 2006-2014

To remove the cap from the external wing mirror, first adjust the mirror (that is, the glass) fully inwards, so you can get your fingers or a small screwdriver in to remove it from its housing. There are three clips for the cap: one at the bottom, one at the top, and one on the side. Now, sand down both caps to remove the previous paint and apply a coat of plastic primer. Allow it to dry and then apply the first coat of gloss black; let it dry completely and apply a second coat. Finally, apply a coat of clear lacquer. You can then refit the caps in their place.
