Simply remove the gear knob and observe that all gears engage except for reverse, which is due to the reverse return lever not connecting to the gear engagement lever because there is a broken connection. The best solution here is to obtain a second-hand part from a scrap dealer (also because the part alone is not available new, and you would have to replace the entire gear lever, which is quite expensive) and replace it as shown in the video, so that the gearbox can function normally.
