How to Update the Badge on an Opel Corsa E

In this video, we will see how to update the manufacturer's badge on an Opel Corsa E. What we see in the video is a Vauxhall badge, as it is a vehicle from the United Kingdom, but we, citizens of the EU, will need to apply an Opel badge, which can be found very nicely on Ovoko.it, with code 9830092880, at a price of £32.75 + £15.98 for delivery.

Looking at the boot from the inside, we see that there are two screws in the handle recess.

Remove them, and the trim will come off. Once removed, you will see two bolts holding the badge, and then an electrical connector that we will unplug. Unscrew the two bolts and then push out the badge you intend to replace and hold it with the other hand.

Clean the underlying surface of the bodywork thoroughly. The holes may not align perfectly, as is the case in the video, so they will need to be carefully filed and then touched up to prevent rust.

Now, place some double-sided tape under the new badge and insert the pins into the holes. Secure with silicone and refit the rear part of the tailgate.

If you have removed the tailgate springs, refit them and the job is done.
