In this video we see how to unlock the handbrake, when the button breaks, on the Opel Mokka, without the need to call a tow truck. It's something we can do on our own, although of course we will then have to take the car to the workshop for the necessary repairs, but in an emergency we won't need anyone's help. On the handbrake lever we have a metal covering. We need to remove it with the help of a screwdriver or a spatula (better so we don't scratch anything) and underneath we find a white button. We pull up the lever, push the button forward and at the same time push down the handbrake lever. The brake is now unlocked.
