How to adjust the handbrake on the Opel Mokka?

To adjust the handbrake on the Opel Mokka, use a tool to lever off the cover of the cup holder located in the centre console. Once this plastic cover is removed, you can access the underlying components, where you will find the nut that allows you to adjust the tension and travel of the handbrake. Tightening this nut will make the handbrake firmer and reduce its travel; conversely, loosening it will increase the travel and make it softer. After the adjustment, refit the panel you removed.
