How to remove the variator cover of the Peugeot Speedfight 4.

In this short and simple guide, we will see how to disassemble and eventually replace the transmission and clutch cover of the Peugeot Speedfight 4 scooter. First, we put our scooter on the center stand and start unscrewing the fastening screws of the air filter box, in order to remove it; then we unscrew the screws of the transmission cover, thus accessing the variator, the belt, and the clutch, as shown in the video. At this point, we proceed to revise or replace the elements of our transmission, applying the reverse procedure for reassembly!

How do you replace the belt on the Piaggio NRG?

In order to replace the Piaggio NRG belt it is necessary to loosen the screws that fix the casing at the rear wheel, in order to remove the cover. When this has been detached, it will be possible to access the underlying components: it will be necessary to loosen the central pin that fixes the clutch and also the variator, in order to remove these two components. The belt can therefore now be removed from its seat so that the new one can be inserted. By fixing the central pin of the variator and of the clutch it will therefore be possible to close everything with the crankcase cover.
