Removal of the central console of the Peugeot 2008 and adjustment of the handbrake.

In this video we can see how to disassemble the central console of the Peugeot 2008 in order to adjust the handbrake. First, we remove the cup holder under the dashboard, then we remove the plastic trim around the gear lever. Then we will need to remove the back part of the console, by prying it from the back with a plastic spatula and then pulling up the entire part, starting from the center, to remove the handbrake. Now we access the back of the car: we need to remove the rear glove compartment partition; by doing this, we will expose some screws that will allow us to remove the other half, which contains the 12-volt socket. We remove about three 10 mm bolts to also remove the glove compartment. Now we go back to the front and remove the cover from the handbrake, which is all snap-fit. Finally, we expose the handbrake adjustment, which we need to adjust so that the lever does not rise more than two or three clicks. The youtuber also broke some pieces, but we will be more careful, and once the adjustment is done, we can reassemble all the pieces.
