How to Disable the Electric Handbrake on a Peugeot 2008

In this video, you can see how to disable the electric handbrake on a Peugeot 2008: first, turn off the engine and note that the handbrake activates automatically. To disable it, turn the ignition back on, press both the brake and clutch pedals, and then hold down the handbrake button located on the centre console for a few seconds. After that, you can turn off the ignition while still holding the button down. After a moment, you can release it, and the handbrake will remain off. You can now work on the rear brakes. When you're ready to reactivate it, simply pull the handbrake, and it will engage again. That's all.
