How to disassemble the rearview mirror of the Peugeot 3008

In this video, we see how to dismantle the rearview mirror of a Peugeot 3008: first, we need to remove the speaker located in the front triangle of the door, held in place only by clips: remove the electrical connector of the tweeter. Below, we find a torx screw, which we remove. Now we also need to remove the door panel, starting with the screws under the handle. We will find another screw under the inner handle, and one under the lower part of the plastic panel. Now, lever inside the panel and remove it, being careful: in the middle there are two metal clips that we need to remove to take out the panel, which we simply push upwards after disconnecting the electrical connectors, allowing us to also remove the mirror. The new one usually has a paintable cover, so if the old one is in good condition, it is convenient to replace it to avoid the cost of painting. Now, put the mirror back in place by reconnecting the electrical connectors and then putting back the door panel in the reverse order. Finally, put the tweeter back in the corner of the window.
