How to fix the black screen of a Peugeot 208 radio

In this video, we see how to restart the black screen of the radio in a Peugeot 208: if everything else on the dashboard is working normally, try a quick reset. Open the fuse box (which in the video is located in the glove compartment, being a right-hand drive: in left-hand drive cars it is located in a compartment to the left of the steering wheel). Find the radio fuse, which is usually yellow and is located in position F21/F22; remove it with its extractor, wait a minute, and then put it back in place. Restart the car, and it should turn on. Otherwise, you can try with the battery - but you need to have the radio code on hand - Open the hood, disconnect the negative battery cable (the black one), wait 2/3 minutes to reset the circuits, and reconnect the cable. Start the car, and it should work now. Check the battery charge status; it could be a possible cause: the software may be outdated, preventing the radio from turning on; or it could be a hardware issue, in which case a diagnosis is needed.
