In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the battery in the Peugeot 208, an extremely simple and quick operation. First, let's make sure that the instrument panel is off, so we can operate safely. Then, we open the hood and remove the control unit from its housing by unlocking the relevant clips. Next, we loosen the negative terminal nut with a 10mm wrench, disconnect it, repeat the operation for the positive terminal, and detach the lower fixing clip with a flathead screwdriver. At this point, all that remains is to remove the old battery, insert the replacement, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
