The BSI is the computer of a Peugeot engine: in fact, BSI stands for Body Computer System, and it is an electronic control unit present in many cars that manages and coordinates a wide range of electrical and electronic functions of the vehicle: it controls the engine start-up, manages the lights, regulates the operation of central locking and air conditioning, ensures safety through airbags and parking sensors, and above all communicates with other control units. Malfunctioning of the BSI can cause a series of problems, ranging from simple malfunction of an electrical component to failure to start the engine.
