The BSI is the computer of a Peugeot engine: in fact, BSI stands for Body Computer System, and it is an electronic control unit present in many cars that manages and coordinates a wide range of electrical and electronic functions of the vehicle: it controls the engine start, manages the lights, regulates the operation of the central locking and the air conditioning, ensures safety through airbags and parking sensors, and most importantly, communicates with other control units.

A malfunctioning BSI can cause a series of problems, ranging from simple malfunction of an electrical component to the failure to start the engine.
