Replacing a car battery is a simple operation to perform independently, especially if you follow our short video tutorial. Today we will take as an example the replacement of the battery of a second generation Peugeot 3008 car. The first step to take is to remove the cover placed on the battery. The second step to take is to disconnect the connector of the negative terminal from the battery. The third step to take is to unscrew the bracket that secures the battery with a 10mm Torx key. The fourth step to take is to disconnect the positive terminal from the battery. The fifth step to take is to remove the old battery and insert the new one. The sixth step to take is to connect the positive terminal to the battery and mount the nut on the bracket. The seventh step to take is to connect the negative terminal to the battery and mount the cover.
