How to Replace the Cabin Fan Resistor on Peugeot 307

Model: Peugeot 307 MK 1 - Years 2001-2009

If the cabin fan does not activate or only runs at maximum speed, it means the resistor that controls its speed is damaged; the resistor is attached to the motor that drives the fan and is located behind the central console of the dashboard: to access the resistor, it is recommended to enter from the driver's side and remove the trim plastics located just below the steering column and at the front of the tunnel: the resistor is located just above the accelerator pedal and can be reached by following the associated power cable.
