How to Safely Lift the Peugeot 108

For this operation, you will need a hydraulic jack and two axle stands, along with rubber pads to protect the bodywork. Slide the jack under one of the front lifting points located on the wishbone, lift the car until the wheel is off the ground, place the axle stand under a solid part of the chassis, such as the reinforcement of the long member, lower the jack until it securely rests on the axle stand, then repeat on the other side. If lifting the rear, place the jack at the designated rear lifting point on the rear axle and follow the same procedure. To lower the car, reposition the jack under the lifting point and lift the car a few millimetres to relieve the load from the axle stand, remove the axle stand, gently lower the car with the jack, and tighten the wheel nuts.
