Removing the Gear Knob on 207

Model: Peugeot 207 MK 1 - Years 2006-2015

Remove the gear knob from the gear lever. This is an easy operation, follow these steps. Disconnect the gaiter frame from the plastic trim on the centre tunnel, lift it up, and cut the plastic tie with side cutters (note the type of knob fitted). Remove the knob to separate it from the leather gaiter. Fit the gaiter to the knob and then the assembly onto the gear stick, securing the gaiter to the plastic frame until it clicks into place on the centre tunnel. Test the correct operation of the gearbox with the new knob and check the fitting of all the plastics on the centre tunnel.
