Before proceeding with the disassembly of the steering wheel, disconnect the battery to prevent any warning lights from turning on. Then intercept the holes behind the steering wheel spokes in order to release the airbag fixing springs; then disconnect the plugs and remove it. Unscrew the steering wheel fixing pin and remove it with straight wheels; unscrew the fixing screws of the cover shells of the light switch controls to be able to remove it; then unscrew the pin of the clamp fixing the light switch itself and remove it from the column disconnecting the sockets connected to it. Unhook the radio controls and apply them to the new lever switch, proceeding backwards for refitting.
