Replacement of Light Switch Controls

Model: Peugeot 206 MK 1 - Years 1998-2012

Before proceeding with the removal of the steering wheel, disconnect the battery to avoid the activation of warning lights. Locate the holes behind the spokes of the steering wheel to release the airbag retaining springs; then disconnect the connectors and remove it. Unscrew the steering wheel fixing bolt and remove the wheel with the wheels straight; unscrew the screws securing the covers of the light switch controls to remove them; then unscrew the bolt of the light switch retaining clamp and slide it off the column, disconnecting the associated connectors. Disconnect the radio controls and attach them to the new light switch, proceeding in reverse for reassembly.
