To replace the light switch it is necessary to proceed as follows: using a pointed screwdriver, extract the on-board computer control located at the end of the light switch control rod, be careful not to lose the spring return of the command below. Take a nose pliers and unhook the light control ring, also in this case be careful not to lose the clip inside. Lift the plastic cross profile with a small screwdriver and release it with needle nose pliers. Below is a small clip which is used to swap the electrical contacts and to close the various electrical circuits for switching on the headlights. In the event that the electrical contacts are damaged, there is a leakage of current that sends the whole system into protection and therefore the horn and the arrows do not work either. These contacts cannot be repaired and therefore the entire lever assembly will need to be replaced. In order to disassemble the entire lever, it will be necessary to open the latches located at the base of the lever all around the complete assembly with a pointed screwdriver. Once the central unit has been opened, release the two terminals of the electronic board and mark the direction of insertion with a marker. At this point it will be possible to extract the lever. Take the new lever and reposition it paying attention to the positioning of the carriages in the special housings. Finally, reassemble the various components backwards, paying attention to reassembling the springs for the return of the various commands.

How to adjust the clock of the Citroen C3 2010
