Two Ways to Remove Eco Mode from a Peugeot 206

It is well known that especially in South American countries, the Eco mode issue is particularly felt, as it limits both performance and electrical functions. The first method is to reset the BSI (Body System Interface). Remove the key from the ignition, disconnect the battery, starting with the negative terminal, and wait for about twenty minutes. Reconnect the battery, starting with the positive terminal, and start the car. This will reset the BSI and turn off the Eco light. Otherwise, you will need to use specific tools by connecting a scanner via the EOBD socket: the errors will be coded starting from BSI00001 onwards. Also, check the alternator. If the battery does not recharge, Eco mode will return.
