Replacing the External Wing Mirror Glass

If the glass of the external wing mirror breaks, it is not necessary to replace the entire unit; you can purchase just the glass, which can be installed without disassembling anything. A practical and cost-effective solution is to create a cardboard template of the original glass, have a new one cut by a glazier, and apply it over the broken glass using silicone. However, if you decide to buy a new glass, simply detach the broken one from its housing using a screwdriver to pry it off, disconnect the connectors for the heating system, attach them to the new glass, and fit it into place.
