To replace the battery in the Peugeot 407 or other remotes (some Citroen as well), start by inserting a small flathead screwdriver into the bottom slot of the remote and lever it to separate the two shells (a coin was used in the video); once the two shells are separated, remove the circuit board from the shell and place it in the other shell in the opposite direction. Using a small flathead screwdriver, lever from the bottom to remove the battery (a small knife was used in the video). Take the new battery, insert it into its slot in the same direction as the old one. Now take the shell with the battery, place it onto the shell with the circuit board, and press to interlock them. Finally, we can check the proper functioning of the new battery.
