Reprogramming the key/remote of a Peugeot 407 after replacing the battery due to a fault is a very simple task to do independently, aided by our short video tutorial. To perform this operation, access the vehicle via the lock, and once inside, insert the key and turn on the ignition.

Remove the key, and with the door closed, press the unlock button on the remote for about 10 seconds, then the lock button for another 10 seconds. Repeat this operation three times in succession.
