How to Retrieve the Radio Code for a Peugeot 306

Here’s how to retrieve the radio code for a Peugeot 306. If you cannot find it in the onboard documentation (the dealer should have noted it in the user and maintenance manual or the service booklet), you can usually find it on the back or side of the unit. Remove it from its housing using two special screwdrivers, inserting them into the two holes on the sides of the unit. Press simultaneously, and the unit will come out of its housing. You will see a barcode on the unit with a number starting with C700000. You will need the last 4 digits of that code. Simply enter them using the numeric keypad, and the radio will start working again.
