Replacing the Battery of a Peugeot 206

If the battery of your Peugeot is flat and does not support subsequent charging attempts, it needs to be replaced. To do this, open the bonnet and locate the battery on the right. Open the top cover of the battery by pressing the buttons, then disconnect the positive terminal clamp and secure it away from the battery. Using a 10 mm spanner, also undo the positive terminal, remove the battery cover, and with a 13 mm socket and extension, unscrew the retaining bracket and remove the old battery. Clean the inside of the terminals with sandpaper, place the new battery in position, secure it with its bracket, replace the cover, connect the positive terminal, and tighten it. Connect the negative terminal, tighten the screw, and close the cover.
