In order to replace the fuel pump of the Piaggio Liberty, you will need to loosen the screws that secure the inner panel of the underseat compartment: these screws will be accessible after the seat has been lifted. Once the screws have been loosened, it will be possible to detach the inner panel of the compartment and also remove the one located in the front exterior of the compartment: the top of the tank will now be accessible and it will be possible to free the pump from the fastening screws and connectors. This way, the new pump can be inserted and properly secured and connected.
