To open the fuel tank of the Piaggio MP3 400, we must keep the key in the ignition switch and press the key on itself three times in a row; we will notice that the tank door will open automatically. Once the door is open, we can turn the cap counterclockwise to remove it and then refuel. After completing the operation, we turn the cap clockwise to close it and push the door inward to close it as well. If the tank cap does not unscrew, it is possible to spray WD-40 on it and wait 20 minutes before trying to open the cap again.
