If you have an old model Piaggio Vespa and the battery is flat, be aware that on the older models, specifically those from the '70s and '80s, there wasn't even a battery. In fact, Vespas from that era used a "flywheel magneto" ignition system. This system generates electricity autonomously when the engine runs, without needing a battery, as the magnet creates current for the spark plug during engine rotation, sufficient to produce the spark needed for starting. Vespas were started using a pedal to turn the engine. In case of necessity, as shown by the YouTuber, simply engage second gear, run, and hop on when you feel the engine start. Wasn't that fantastic?
