Today, you will learn how to install the bell and clutch on the 1970 Piaggio Ciao. To perform the installation, you will need: a 50 pence coin, a 13mm combination spanner, a filter wrench, a flat screwdriver, and a small screwdriver. Ensure that the clutch belt is oiled but clean and that the shaft and oil seal do not have excess oil. Insert the clutch into the belt and pull firmly to fit the clutch onto the hub shaft at the top of the bell housing. Use the flat screwdriver to adjust the bell so that the half-moon is horizontal and hand-tighten the outer nut. Use the filter wrench to tighten the bell and clutch. With the 13mm spanner, tighten the hub clockwise. Finally, secure the side panel and use the small screwdriver or the 50 pence coin to tighten the screws.
