To replace the belt on a Piaggio Zip, you need to loosen the bolts that secure the air filter cover, located directly above the transmission. Once the air filter has been completely removed, you can open the cover containing the transmission by loosening the appropriate bolts. Once the cover is open, you can unscrew the nuts that secure the central pins of the variator and the clutch, removing both parts. When these have been removed, you can slide off the belt and replace it with a new one.
